Ensure that the vacuum room door is not opened too frequently, as the hot air goes inside and thus causes condensation. Moisture in juicy food stored in the Vacuum Compartment will evaporate and cause dew condensation or frost in the Vacuum Compartment. Please wipe it off with a dry cloth.
It might be due to insufficient water in the water tank, which causes the cubes to be smaller than usual and thus, cannot be crushed.
This is due to the optimum humidity inside the vegetable compartment which keeps the vegetables fresh.
The compartments are connected by cold air pathway where the air pressure will lead to the opening of the other door when one door closes hard. This is not malfunction.
This is due to frosting, usually during the raining season or on high humid weather when the ambient temperature is high. It is not a malfunction. Please use a dry cloth to wipe off the water droplets and ensure that the surrounding of the fridge is well ventilated.
In order to prevent the refrigerator from sweating and also to ventilate the heat, especially for new fridge, during the high speed operation of the compressor or when the doors are opened frequently, a lot of heat is generated and emitted from the side of the fridge body. The temperature can rise quite high, but it does not pose any safety or performance problems, but please avoid touching it.
It is normal as water is produced within the refrigerator during defrosting process.
When the door is frequently opened, hot air goes inside and causes condensation. Please wipe it off with a dry cloth.
a. Check temperature control dial and temperature settings.
b. Ensure that the refrigerator is not facing the sunlight directly.
c. Too much food storage could block the cool air flow circulation. Ensure that ventilation outlets are not blocked.
d. Check if the door is opened too frequently or for too long time.
a. Ensure that the ice maker function is activated and LED indicator lights are on.
b. Ensure that the water tank is filled with water.
c. Ensure that the water tank is fully inserted into the slot and pushed behind the indicated line.
d. Making ice for the first time will take a longer time (estimated 24 hours). Thereafter, it will take an estimated 2-3 hours to make 8 ice cubes.
e. Please check if ice compartment is full of ice. When the sensor detects that the ice tank is full, auto ice making process will stop.
Please do not put liquid such as juices, soft drinks, tea etc. other than plain water into the water tank, as it may damage the ice maker.
Please do not use any detergent or rough material to clean the door surface. Use only a soft cloth, rinse it with clean water, squeeze, and clean the surface of the door.

The container at the back/bottom side of the refrigerator is called drain pan or evaporator pan. The water from defrosting process will be collected in it.You can leave the water untouched, as it will evaporate.
Nano Titanium is a cutting-edge technology that uses a TiO2 catalyst to provide a powerful anti-bacterial and deodorizing effect.Nano Titanium particles are incredibly small (about 5nm). If you imagine the Earth’s diameter is 1 meter, then 5nm would be the size of a golf ball compared to the Earth. The filter is packed with these minute particles to firmly catch and resolve bacteria, which are approximately 1000 times larger, mold and odors.
To ensure the coolant in the refrigerator stabilizes, please wait for 2 hours before you power it on.

This is the operation sound of the inverter compressor of your fridge. The running speed of an inverter compressor varies and it is more energy efficient. To cool the new fridge faster, the compressor runs at high speed which will results in louder operation sound.
This is the sound caused by friction of parts due to temperature change.
Refrigerant (gas) pipes are running underneath at the side body. As such, some wave lines may be visible especially when compressor runs at high speed and the sides of the refrigerator is hot. This is normal and will not affect the performance of the refrigerator. Sometimes a creaking
This indicates that the compartment is not in a vacuumed condition.
- Check the vacuum setting on the control panel. Open one refrigerator door to check if the LED indicator (on control panel on the door surface) for Vacuum mode is turned on.
- Ensure that nothing is trapped by the door of the vacuum compartment or rubber seal of the door and that the vacuum compartment door is tightly locked.
- After the door of the vacuum compartment is locked, it takes about 3 minutes for the vacuum pump to run. Please check the hissing sound again after 3 minutes.
- Check and ensure no powerful or quick cooling setting for vegetable compartment.
- Keep the vegetables/fruits inside the vegetable drawer instead of the refrigerator compartment shelves.
- Cold air is blown out from the air vents (normally located right back corner of vegetable drawer). If the item is placed just in front of the cold air vents and cold air blows onto it directly for a long time, it may freeze. Please keep the item in a container or move it away from the area.
- Wipe the insides of compartments and removeable shelves/drawers thoroughly with well-wrung soft cloth or sponge soaked in lukewarm water. Thereafter, wipe it clean with a dry cloth.

Hitachi Washing Machine
Please note that Reduced Tangle operation will not be available if the program is set on ‘Rinsing’ or ‘Spinning’ mode only. Please also make sure that the washer is not overloaded.
This is because the clothes are not balanced inside the washing tub. When this occurs, please pause the spinning operation, open the lid and do some adjustment on the clothes. Make sure clothes are distributed evenly in the tub and not tilted to one side only. Please also make sure thatthe machine is installed on a level ground firmly.
This could be related to the fabric material of the clothing, such as woven or knitted items. In this case, turn the clothes inside out before washing to prevent fabrics from running off. It is better to separate them from other clothes to minimize the friction during washing, and to use a wash net to protect it. Adding a bit of the softener may be helpful as well. To remove the lint, you can try a lint remover.
The drain pump pushes and drains water at the end of washing/rinsing process. When the water is reduced to a certain low level, the noisy sound of rushing water in the drain pipe is heard. This is because the water is under pressure, meaning there is little air mixed with the water to make noise as it travels through the pipe.
- Do clean up the drainage area regularly.
- Leave the door open to air for a while after washing.
- Clean your washer tub regularly using tub clean function.
Over long time of use, the washing tub surface could have dirt sticked to it. This dirt is not easy to be cleaned by brushing, if left unattended, slime and grime would appear and will eventually stick to the clothing. Run the tub cleaning process by applying the washing machine tub cleaning powder that can be easily purchasable from the market.
When the power was cut off during operation, it will result the washing machine to be locked. Restart the machine; wait for a while and then the lock would be released automatically when you hear a “click” sound. Contact the service centre if the lock is still not released.
Check if the drain hose is installed properly and if any holes on it. Check the conditions of the water supply hose and the one touch joint that links the tap to the water supply hose. Either it could happen due to wear and tear or that it has loosened over long time use.
This might be due to blockage in the water inlet valve or low water pressure from the tap.If there’s no blockage and water pressure is normal.
Do clean the lint filter after every wash as the washing machines collect lint during the wash cycle and if it is not removed and gets accumulated, the lint may stick on the laundry during washing or block the drain pipe when draining.
